Our data strategy in Techsense

The Techsense interview covers the development of our services, from systems integration to data governance and preparation for analytics and AI.

In an interview with Techsense, our Head of Data Strategy and our Luxembourg Country Manager set out how our position on data and artificial intelligence has changed. The arrival of HumanTech Partners in April 2025 widened what the group covers, from the technical foundation through to the strategy for using data.

Our job is to take clients from raw data to data that is useful, reliable and usable. That is the foundation for AI, and equally for running the business properly.

Data volumes keep growing and information systems keep getting more complicated, so the offer now covers the whole chain rather than one link in it:

  • Data integration and exchange — EDI, API, ETL, managed file transfer
  • Governance, quality and security of the data itself
  • Modern architecture on platforms such as Snowflake, Qlik and Databricks
  • Business intelligence and generative AI, including Microsoft Copilot

The recurring failure Techsense pointed to is organisations deploying AI on unstable foundations. Immature architecture, absent governance and poor data quality stop the value appearing, and no model fixes that from above.

Architecture for existing IT environments

IT estates differ, so we built up deeper capability on hybrid environments, notably through our partnership with Axway.

This partnership addresses monolithic architecture modernisation and combines our on-premise expertise with cloud capabilities.

Governance in the data strategy

Under GDPR, NIS2 and what is coming after them, governance stops being paperwork. Without structure and control, an AI layer will happily expose sensitive information or create a compliance problem at a scale nobody anticipated.

Data quality needs to be assessed before the data is used in an AI system.

A European ambition

We work from Luxembourg, Belgium and France with clients in finance, logistics and industry. The ambition is to make data synchronicity a practical lever for performance and compliance, by making every flow controlled, usable and aligned with what the business needs. Data is becoming the raw material for prediction, but without governance or a clear strategy it stays unusable.
