IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Developer / Consultant

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) Developer / Consultant to join our integration team on a permanent contract (CDI).
This opportunity can be based in France, Belgium, or Luxembourg.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of data exchanges between internal systems and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure integration flows using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI).
  • Implement and support EDI/B2B communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, VAN, etc.).
  • Manage partner onboarding and configuration for data exchange.
  • Develop business process models (BPML), maps, and custom services to automate B2B workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration processes for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with ITX, middleware, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end-to-end data flow.
  • Maintain technical documentation and mapping specifications.
  • Provide operational support and resolve incidents in production environments.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical upgrades.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SBI) development or
    administration.
  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, XML, CSV, JSON, SWIFT, etc.).
  • Experience implementing communication protocols (AS2, FTP/S, HTTP/S, SFTP, MQ).
  • Hands-on experience with Business Process Modeling Language (BPML).
  • Familiarity with IBM File Gateway, Mailbox, MyFileGateway, and Business Process Choreography.
  • Knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and workflow orchestration.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation and monitoring.
  • Understanding of integration middleware such as IBM IIB / ACE or ITX.
  • Good understanding of databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) and SQL queries.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities in multicultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating Sterling with ITX or IBM MQ.
  • Exposure to financial (SWIFT MT/MX) or healthcare EDI data flows.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
  • IBM Sterling certification is a plus.
