ITX Developer / Consultant

Location: Opportunity available in France, Belgium, or Luxembourg

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced ITX Developer / Consultant to join our integration team on a permanent contract (CDI).
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ITX integration solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and secure data exchanges between internal systems and external partners. Fluency in both English and French is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain transformation maps and flows using IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver efficient and reliable data integration solutions.
  • Work with various data formats (XML, EDIFACT, CSV, JSON, SWIFT, flat files, etc.).
  • Integrate ITX with middleware and messaging platforms such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB/ACE), IBM MQ, or API Gateways.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of transformation maps.
  • Support deployment and troubleshooting in test and production environments.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including mapping specifications and process diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, infrastructure, application support) to ensure stable and efficient integrations

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in ITX (IBM Transformation Extender, formerly WTX) development.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, ETL, and message transformation.
  • Experience working with EDI, SWIFT, XML, XSD, JSON, and flat file formats.
  • Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus (IIB/ACE), IBM MQ, or similar middleware tools.
  • Good scripting and troubleshooting skills (Shell, Python, or similar).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server) and SQL.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD practices.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to financial (SWIFT MT/MX) or healthcare EDI standards.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence tools.
